The growing Suzuki Swift Sport tuning scene continues to evolve! The latest release from legendary Japanese tuning house TODA Racing for the ZC31S model’s M16A 16-valve engine is a big bore piston kit for those seeking serious power from a turbo or supercharged Swift Sport.
TODA’s big bore piston kit uses Ø 85.00 mm forged pistons, which in conjunction with the standard 83 mm stroke crankshaft increases capacity from 1,586cc to 1,884cc. Thanks to TODA’s low compression 10:1 design, these forged pistons are specifically designed for forced induction applications.

The ZC31S model of the Suzuki Swift Sport is a true mini hot hatch, but with its taut chassis dynamics and only 123 bhp on tap, it’s begging for more power. Enter legendary Japanese tuning house HKS, which has designed a range of Suzuki Swift bolt on turbocharger kits, available now from principal HKS distributor Torque Developments plc.
Designed to bolt on to the standard M16A 1.6-litre 16-valve engine, the HKS turbo kit comes in six different variants to suit all budgets and offers two dyno proven power outputs – a healthy 174 bhp or a very exciting 200 bhp plus – all without having to strip the engine!
Featuring a specially selected HKS branded Garrett T25 turbo for a rapid spool up at low boost pressures, the Suzuki Swift bolt on turbo kits come comprehensively equipped high quality components packed with the attention to detail that HKS is famous for – including a cast exhaust manifold and turbo downpipe, plus all the required oil feed pipework.

New – HKS Super Turbo Muffler exhaust for FD3S Mazda RX-7
New from Torque Developments International Plc, an HKS Super Turbo Muffler stainless steel exhaust system for the FD3S version of the Mazda RX-7. Featuring HKS’s unique ‘Slit Tip’ sound control technology and a 3 inch (74.7mm) main pipe diameter with no restrictions throughout to deliver optimum power response, whilst keeping noise at a sensible level. Unique to HKS, the inner slit shape of tailpipe produces an enhanced silencer effect and it was designed with inspiration from an owl’s wing.
HKS engineers noted that Owls fly practically silently, aided by the notch shapes of their wing tips that releases air to prevent drag and eliminate noise. HKS has adopted the same approach for its Super Turbo Muffler. Research showed that by analysing the sound levels and frequency both inside and outside the RX-7′s cabin, the slits inside the tailpipe of the HKS backbox reduced noise by approximately 2dB.
In addition, the low frequency ‘droning’ resonance noise was reduced to improve comfort for everyday driving. The Super Turbo Muffler incorporates HKS’s renowned attention to detail and high quality construction, including the following technical features:
