The growing Suzuki Swift Sport tuning scene continues to evolve! The latest release from legendary Japanese tuning house TODA Racing for the ZC31S model’s M16A 16-valve engine is a big bore piston kit for those seeking serious power from a turbo or supercharged Swift Sport.
TODA’s big bore piston kit uses Ø 85.00 mm forged pistons, which in conjunction with the standard 83 mm stroke crankshaft increases capacity from 1,586cc to 1,884cc. Thanks to TODA’s low compression 10:1 design, these forged pistons are specifically designed for forced induction applications.

Each assembly is precision built by one of Cosworth’s skilled craftsmen using only the finest components from the firm’s parts catalogue to ensure maximum reliable power and performance for Subaru Impreza enthusiasts.
Starting with a new Subaru EJ257 semi closed deck block, Cosworth meticulously diamond hones each bore to guarantee perfect piston to cylinder wall clearance. The block is then assembled with Cosworth forged pistons, motorsport grade forged H-Beam connecting rods along with high performance rod and main bearings and a new STI forged crankshaft. For maximum performance and reliability on very high output engines, an optional steel billet crank is available (CS600X).
Once the cylinder block assembly is completed, Cosworth installs a pair of our CNC machine port-bored Big Valve Cylinder heads with its proven “S2” camshafts, complete with valve lash set to Cosworth specifications. The cylinder heads are secured with Cosworth high performance 11mm steel studs and sealed with a Cosworth high performance stopper layer steel head gasket.
Finally, Cosworth installs a blueprinted, high pressure oil pump for maximum lubrication. This proven engine combination has been used by top teams to win race and rally events in both North America, Asia and Europe.

Principal HKS distributor Torque Developments plc is pleased to announce the launch of a new top quality, high performance stock replacement turbo kit for the Subaru Impreza EJ25 engine using the single scroll turbocharger.
Called the HKS GTII 7460 Sports Turbine Kit, the turbo features performance enhanced turbine and compressor wheels and covers working in conjunction with a ball bearing centre housing for improved boost and throttle response compared to a standard plain bearing turbocharger.
HKS detail design features include an enlarged wastegate valve to reduce both the strain on the engine and boost creep at high rpm, while the included HKS actuator is specified for stable boost control features a specially profiled rod for easy boost setting adjustments.
Dyno testing at HKS in Japan has showed that 360 PS is obtainable using the GTII 7460 Sports Turbine kit on a stock EJ25 motor. With upgraded pistons and connecting rods up to 430 PS is possible using the HKS Sports Turbine.
