Using it’s vast experience of developing flywheels for TODA race programmes, Toda Racing has come to fully understand the most desirable characteristics required for the ultimate flywheel.
Along with a wealth of racing experience, Toda uses CAD solid modelling work stations to further reduce stress and to improve weight distribution and inertia.
The production of a Toda chrome moly flywheel is broken down into several sections. Firstly the basic flywheel shape is machined out, then the 1st of the two heat treatment processes is carried out, which hardens the chrome moly, it is then slowly cooled to restore flexibility, after which the final detail machine work is carried out. With finally the 2nd and 3rd heat treatment giving the clutch face and ring gear greater wear durability and rust prevention.
Weighing in at a only 3.5kg with 0.31 inertia, the Toda racing flywheel provides better engine acceleration and response.

We’re really pleased to be given exclusivity on the supercharger systems developed by Mugen Euro for the Honda CR-Z, which was formerly only available via the franchised Honda dealer network.
The supercharger systems have been rebranded as “Katana” to comply with contractual conditions, and we’ve also managed to reduce the price from what it was perviously.
At approximately 175hp with super smooth torque delivery, in our opinion this is probably the best supercharger system available for the CR-Z as it benefits from the heavy investment necessary to make it an “OE fit” by Mugen Euro. Toda Racing has just launched it’s new big throttle body for the Toyota GT86 and Subaru Impreza BRZ.
Increasing the diameter of the throttle and in combination with a tapered entrance helps to increase the amount of air the engine can breathe, giving improved performance. The internal dimensions of the throttle valve diameter are increased from 65mm to 68mm, and the tapered entrance starting at a diameter of 72mm all maximum size provides an increas in area of 9%.
With the throttle controlled via drive by wire, the throttle shaft has not been modified to be thinner ; this is to increase the life of the single throttle body by retaining a more rigid shaft. To compensate for this the throttle diameter was enlarged to be the maximum possible size.

For the past few years leading Japanese tuning house TODA Racing has been involved in the design and manufacture of high performance engine components for Ferrari powerplants, including the Ferrari GT300 engines for the Japanese JGTC race series.
As part of this process TODA Racing is delighted to announce the launch of a ‘stroker’ kit for the F131B model of the Ferrari F360, which enlarges capacity from 3586cc to 3960cc and raises power from 426 PS up to 515 PS.
The heart of the TODA Racing F360 increased capacity conversion is a specially designed forged steel 85mm stroke crankshaft (standard stroke is 77mm,) which is used in conjunction with forged alloy high compression pistons in either 85mm or 86mm diameter. The volumetric efficiency is enhanced by way of high lift/long duration camshafts with adjustable pulleys, uprated valve springs and solid lifters, and the engine reliability is improved with heavy duty bearings, gaskets, cam belt and idlers.
