The second of HKS’s new for Honda S2000 tuning goodies that were on display at the recent 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon – a new design of 4-2-1 tubular stainless steel high performance exhaust manifold that’s designed to boost low and mid-range torque without compromising the F20C’s legendary top end power.
As with the factory exhaust manifold, the new HKS Honda S2000 exhaust manifold is a 4-2-1 design, but the key difference is that the secondary pipes on the new HKS manifold are twisted to enable them to be longer, which boosts low and mid-range torque.
HKS also reports that the new Honda S2000 ‘twisted’ exhaust manifold also reduces detonation, enabling users to run a wider spread of ignition advance to boost power even further.
