			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Honda’s NSX is the stuff of legend. Developed with input from Ayrton Senna, produced by Honda for 15 years with only minor changes, it’s the Japanese supercar that shook the Italians and forced them to raise their game.</p>
<p>Which means that when it comes to fitting a NSX with performance exhaust it needs to be a top quality item befitting of the Honda supercar’s legend – which is where Japanese tuning house TODA Racing comes in.</p>
<p>It’s just launched a new range of ‘High Power’ exhausts for both the 3.0-litre (C30A, 270bhp,) and 3.2-litre (C32B, 290bhp) variants of the Honda NSX.</p>
<p>Featuring an innovative ‘X-pipe’ between the two silencer boxes to minimise back pressure and maximise the aural experience from the NSX’s high revving V6 engine, the TODA ‘High Power’ exhaust features 60mm diameter internal tubing and slash cut round tailpipes boasting a smart titanium blue finish.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The second of HKS&#8217;s new for Honda S2000 tuning goodies that were on display at the recent 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon &#8211; a new design of 4-2-1 tubular stainless steel high performance exhaust manifold that&#8217;s designed to boost low and mid-range torque without compromising the F20C&#8217;s legendary top end power.</p>
<p>As with the factory exhaust manifold, the new HKS Honda S2000 exhaust manifold is a 4-2-1 design, but the key difference is that the secondary pipes on the new HKS manifold are twisted to enable them to be longer, which boosts low and mid-range torque.</p>
<p>HKS also reports that the new Honda S2000 &#8216;twisted&#8217; exhaust manifold also reduces detonation, enabling users to run a wider spread of ignition advance to boost power even further. Combine this with a top quality stainless steel construction that&#8217;s been optimised to maximise flow and reduce back pressure, the new HKS &#8216;Twisted&#8217; manifold is set to be  a must have for Honda S2000 owners!</p>

<p>Firstly a great upgrade package for Honda S2000 owners &#8211; a GT Supercharger kit.</p>
<p>Called the AP350SC-II Concept, the HKS package is specifically designed to increase the power output of the Honda S2000&#8242;s incredible F20C engine. HKS&#8217;s engineers specified the use of GTS7040 blower that ideally compliments the high revving 2.0-litre VTEC motor.</p>
<p>The end result is a fantastically responsive, torquey and powerful Honda S2000 that delivers approximately 350PS (345bhp) and is thoroughly engineered to the standards you would expect from HKS.</p>

<p>Having reduced the exhaust back pressure in part 2 of this blog, we turned our attention to minimising the intake restriction that creates a depression in the intake flow path which reduces engine performance.</p>
<p>Nick liked the look of the <a href="http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/mugen-performance-p-18304.html">MUGEN high performance air box</a>, and duly instructed us to install one.</p>
<p>As you would expect from MUGEN, the quality of the kit is exemplary and the fitment is perfect, taking approximately 1 hour to install.</p>

<p>When attempting to increase theVolumetric Efficiency (VE) of an engine, it&#8217;s important to reduce air flow losses in the paths to and from the engine.</p>
<p>The standard exhaust system is quite restrictive so it&#8217;s important to minimise (or preferably eliminate!) the back pressure within it.</p>
<p>Being particularly concerned about quality and efficacy, Nick chose a <a href="http://www.tdi-plc.com/catalog/mugen-sports-exhaust-system-p-18303.html">MUGEN exhaust system</a> for Projekt HYCAEI.</p>
