TODA’s big bore piston kit uses Ø 85.00 mm forged pistons, which in conjunction with the standard 83 mm stroke crankshaft increases capacity from 1,586cc to 1,884cc. Thanks to TODA’s low compression 10:1 design, these forged pistons are specifically designed for forced induction applications.

The ZC31S model of the Suzuki Swift Sport is a true mini hot hatch, but with its taut chassis dynamics and only 123 bhp on tap, it’s begging for more power. Enter legendary Japanese tuning house HKS, which has designed a range of Suzuki Swift bolt on turbocharger kits, available now from principal HKS distributor Torque Developments plc.

Designed to bolt on to the standard M16A 1.6-litre 16-valve engine, the HKS turbo kit comes in six different variants to suit all budgets and offers two dyno proven power outputs – a healthy 174 bhp or a very exciting 200 bhp plus – all without having to strip the engine!

Featuring a specially selected HKS branded Garrett T25 turbo for a rapid spool up at low boost pressures, the Suzuki Swift bolt on turbo kits come comprehensively equipped high quality components packed with the attention to detail that HKS is famous for – including a cast exhaust manifold and turbo downpipe, plus all the required oil feed pipework.

HKS has launched a stainless steel brake hose kit for the increasingly popular Suzuki Swift models, including the Sport.

Available now from TDi plc, the HKS brake hoses are designed to overcome the issues commonly found with stock hoses. Most stock brake hoses are manufactured rubber which has a limited shelf life and should be replaced approximately every 4 years. This is because rubber perishes over time due to constant expansion and contraction through the cycle of braking. This can lead to areas becoming brittle, cracking or punctured. Another drawback with using rubber hoses on the braking system of any vehicle is the expansion of the hose, which causes a soft, or longer pedal and subsequent lack of ‘feel.’

HKS Stainless steel braided hose kits allow minimal expansion under force due to their construction from stainless steel braided Teflon hose. This gives a much firmer and more positive pedal feel under heavy braking, making them ideal for uprated cars destined for harder use – particularly on track days.

HKS’s Teflon PTFE inner lining offers significant durability advantages over standard PTFE or nylon inner linings. This is proven through independent tests to outlast competitor hoses by up to 24 time as long!

Many stainless steel brake line kits use stainless steel hoses but are compromised through mild steel or aluminium fittings. These non stainless steel fittings can corrode or rust due to electrolytic corrosion. The only way to avoid this is to use stainless steel fitting with stainless steel hoses. All HKS brake line kits use only stainless steel fittings to ensure maximum performance and durability.

All HKS brake lines kit use swaged or crimped fittings for maximum safety and reliability. The fittings also utilise a dual seat design that will seal with either convex or concave type brake fittings.

Leading Japanese tuning house TODA Racing is pleased to announce an assortment of high quality tuning components for the popular 123bhp Suzuki Swift Sport. The first release is a range of reprofiled camshafts specifically designed to increase power and torque from the 1586cc M16A engine.

From the factory the Swift Sport’s M16A motor uses a shim and bucket valvetrain actuation set up, which TODA Racing has modified to allow the standard camshafts’ base circle to be reduced from 37 to 34mm. This requires the use of the TODA inner shim kit to ensure the correct factory valve clearances are maintained.

In doing so, TODA’s technicians have been able to increase the duration and lift of the original camshafts to create a range of four performance inlet profiles and three performance exhaust profiles, with the option of an adjustable exhaust vernier cam sprocket.
