Suzuki Swift Forged Pistons from Toda Racing
Toda Racing has introduced a new range of forged pistons for the Suzuki Swift ZC31S and ZC32S using the M16A engine, that’s specially designed to cope with the increased stresses imposed by racing activities and turbocharging, and also increases the engine displacement to 1884cc.
The Toda Racing forged aluminium pistons feature an anti-scuff coating and are 85mm diameter which increases the displacement from 1586cc to 1884cc.
Available in the following various compression ratios to suit different application:
- Toda Racing low compression 9.5:1 pistons
- Toda Racing high compression 12.2:1 pistons
- Toda Racing ultra high compression 13.2:1 pistons
Please note that the Toda Racing Power Liner kit and cylinder gasket is required for these pistons.
Suzuki Swift Power Liners from Toda Racing
Toda Racing has introduced a new cylinder liner kit for the Suzuki Swift ZC31S and ZC32S using the M16A engine, that’s specially designed to cope with the increases stresses imposed by racing activities and turbocharging.
The cylinder block operates under both mechanical and heat stresses. TODA’s special high power cylinder liner kit is made from heavy duty material to withstand high cylinder pressures, and the installation and honing process heats the block and along with the use a dummy head, recreates the forces found in the block under normal operating conditions. This process helps to improve piston to bore sealing therefore providing more power and for longer.

Toda Racing Lightweight Flywheel for Suzuki Swift
Using it’s vast experience of developing flywheels for TODA race programmes, Toda Racing has come to fully understand the most desirable characteristics required for the ultimate flywheel.
Along with a wealth of racing experience, Toda uses CAD solid modelling work stations to further reduce stress and to improve weight distribution and inertia.
The production of a Toda chrome moly flywheel is broken down into several sections. Firstly the basic flywheel shape is machined out, then the 1st of the two heat treatment processes is carried out, which hardens the chrome moly, it is then slowly cooled to restore flexibility, after which the final detail machine work is carried out. With finally the 2nd and 3rd heat treatment giving the clutch face and ring gear greater wear durability and rust prevention.
Weighing in at a only 3.5kg with 0.31 inertia, the Toda racing flywheel provides better engine acceleration and response.

Lotus Elise & Exige Adjustable Toe Link Kit
The complete Rear Toe Link Brace solution – developed by SSC. Pros: Eliminates the compliance in your rear geometry set up. Cons: Fitment also requires a full alignment (Available through Torque Developments International).
A must for anyone putting their car on the track with R-Spec tyres. Suits Models: Toyota powered S2 Lotus Elise & Exige.
More details: The SSC rear toe-link kit has been designed to give the highest level of performance of any toe link kit on the market. It completely eliminates all weak points of the Lotus and other after- market systems by replacing all of the ball joints with the highest grade chrome moly spherical rod ends on both the inboard and outboard ends. Each side is linked by a seamless tubular steel cross brace which stiffens the whole assembly and puts the inboard end in double shear. The outboard end features a high tensile steel taper designed to fit directly into the upright eliminating any bending and play that can be found in the standard ball joints. The aluminium linkage arms have both RH and LH threads for easy adjustment of the rod ends and have been designed as a sacrificial part so that in the event of an accident only one component needs replacing and avoiding damage to the sub frame. The arms are knurled to aid fine adjustment. All turnings are CNC turned from high tensile steel and all components are zinc plated.
This set up increases stability and minimises rear toe movement when you need it most. Despite adding a stiffening cross brace the SSC kit at 2.3kg weighs less than the standard Lotus braces which weigh in at 2.4kg.

Lotus Exige & Elise S2 Uprated Drive Shafts
Simply Sports Cars in collaboration with Holinger Engineering has produced an improved drive shaft system to cope with the rigours of racing making them ideal for high torque 2ZZ engine applications.
The main features are the use of dual bearings in the carrier and the use of a tripode* joint instead of a CV inboard joint. Shafts are made from high grade aerospace materials.
* Tripode or Tripod joints are used at the inboard end of car driveshafts. A three-pointed yoke is attached to the shaft, with barrel-shaped roller bearings on the ends. These fit into a cup with three matching grooves that attaches to the differential. The joint allows an axial ‘plunge’ movement of the shaft so that engine rocking and other effects do not preload the bearings
Being the exclusive European distributor for SSC, we are pleased to make these uprated driveshafts available to you which can be reviewed and purchased here
