Following on from months of hard work to implement the infrastructure changes required to meet the international standards of ISO 9001, the team were pleased to be finally accredited recently which makes us the first Tuning company in the UK to hold this certification.  I wouldn’t be surprised if we were the first in the world.

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard of quality management and quality service, so I hope to be able to deliver even high value to our clients.

I hope that some of our regular visitors may have noticed our new style of advertising and web site.

I decided that our old TDI logo that had been in existance for a very long time was become more and more synonymous with turbo diesel tuning.

Whilst we do provide tuning solutions for turbo diesel cars we needed to enforce a clear differentiation between the majority of our work which is for high powered Spark Ignition engined cars.

Additionally, the direction of our business was diverging significantly from our competitors into a more scientific and professional environment , so we needed an image to adequately reflect this.

We chose a branding expert with a very impressive portfolio of well known names, who designed our new logo which is based around “Taph”, which is the scientific symbol for “torque”

I’m not 100% convinced by it yet but I am a firm believer in trust in experts who have a proven track record so I have decided to go with it, and it does seem to be growing on me.

Please leave a comment if you have any thoughts on this.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to the MIA Summer function at the House of Lords recently.

It was a great event in magnificent surroundings in the presence of motorsport luminaires and Lord Astor of Hever.

I brought along a good client of ours from Germany who got to thoroughly enjoy our English beer prior to being plied with free champaign in the glorious sunshine on the banks of the Thames.

A very good day was had by all.
